Summer may very well be the season for all things bold and bright, but the power of the black and white ensemble is one that rings just as true now as it does during fall. Demi Lovato, one of our favorite stylish stars to watch as of late, was spotted rocking a two-tone ensemble that was chic as it was sassy – two of our favorite qualities during hot, hot weather like we’re experiencing now. A welcome departure from the pastels, neons and full-on florals we’re seeing on streets and in stores, the look is both timeless and trendy at once.
We could go on and on about why we love Demi Lovato, but the gal’s style speaks for itself. A crop top and full skirt pairing couldn’t be more perfect for summer time, and we adore the balance these two pieces strike up. When rocking sassy crop tops, be sure to pick a skirt on the voluminous side for good measure. While you can certainly rock a crop top/pencil skirt pairing to perfection, there’s something super cute about a bottom with a little bounce. While strappy sandals in a neutral shade or even a pop of color are a fab choice, we love Demi’s choice to go classic. Black pointy pumps put the cherry on top of this fab outfit. A swipe of red lipstick and a clutch in a striking shade are all Demi needs to take this look even further into chic territory — if that’s possible!
