Sleeveless Trench

Hi! I apologize for the sporadic posting, but I’m slowly, and surely, getting back into the swing of things!

First things first, we survived our first week and a half with a newborn and surprisingly enough, I don’t feel crazy sleep deprived. I know things can change, but for now, we’re taking it day by day!

But even with the waking up in the middle of the night, the demanding breast-feeding schedule and everything else that comes along with having a tiny little baby, it’s all so worth it. I still plan on sharing my birth story in the next week or so, so stay tuned for that.

On another note, my first non-maternity outfit in months! If I’m being perfectly honest, I’m still rocking the jeans rubber band trick since most of my pre-pregnacy jeans don’t fit around my hips and stomach. I’m trying really hard to not buy any new pairs until I’m back to my regular size, so trying to roll with the punches and make my current wardrobe work. I know it’s going to come with its challenges, especially as we get into the warmer months, but I’m going to try not to be too hard on myself. Ah, the joys of being a woman.
