More than a decade younger than their older sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner are making quite the splash in the business world. Between book deals, hair extension lines and killer modeling careers, the dynamic duo is never short on money-making ventures to build up their bank accounts. Now, it seems the sisters have hit the sartorial jackpot, announcing a collaboration with mega brand Topshop. Following in the footsteps of fashion icons like Kate Moss, these stylish sisters are about to make things a whole lot more interesting by injecting a big of California Cool into the British brand come summer time.
Putting an end to the speculation, the sisters confirmed the collaboration on their website, which Topshop then repeated.
‘A collection designed by sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner will be stocked exclusively at selected Topshop stores globally and online at TOPSHOP.COM’.
With nearly 18 million social media followers between them, the announcement created quite the buzz. In just under two hours, Kendall’s tweet was retweeted over 1,000 times, with Kylie receiving over 3,500 likes in as long.
The line will include summer wardrobe pieces that ‘characterized by the girls’ LA lifestyle and their contemporary, eclectic design aesthetic’ according to their website.
This isn’t the Jenner girls’ first rodeo in the realm of fashion design. The duo has created a line for Pacsun in the past. Philip Green of Topshop is no stranger to the Kardashian clan, either. He also collaborated with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney for a clothing line for Dorothy Perkins. With their sisters’ overwhelming success in clothing collaborations, it makes sense that the Jenner gals would follow in their footsteps. Kendall’s hotter-than-hot modeling career may be as good as ever, but we’re glad to see her hustle is at its all-time high. Will Kylie be the next sister to dominate the fashion scene?
