The trophies and prestige are all well and good, but everyone knows the fun part of Awards season is the red carpet. So far, the women of Hollywood have yet to disappoint us in the fashion department as they consistently shut the red carpet down time and time again. As ever, there were many hits and misses to be had as the night carried on. These fierce females rocked the carpet like no others.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone never fails us when it comes to dressing for a show and last night was no exception. The red haired star looked the epitome of fierce and fabulous in a unique Dior dress that was anything but conventional. Sexy, sophisticated and with an unmistakable hint of Emma, this gorgeous garment is among our favorites all season. While super lovely, we bet Naomi Watts is not a fan. The actress tripped over Emma’s train while accepting the award for Best Picture. Ouch! Ever the gracious woman, Naomi let out a surprised “Wow!” and continued to rock the mic as she so frequently does.
Sofia Vergara
If there’s anyone who can command attention on the red carpet, it’s Sofia Vergara. The Modern Family star’s Donna Karan frock is the type meant to stop traffic. No one rocks a fiery red quite like a curvaceous Latina. With a mega hottie like Joe on her arm, it’s hard to lose.
Sarah Hyland
Sarah Hyland is one of the adorable starlets you can’t help but love. Her deep v-neck embellished dress was just as cute as she. She added sophistication to the look by way of gorgeous up-do and bling for days. We’re glad to see Sarah looking her old self after that whole ex-boyfriend/stalker situation. Love her!
Dascha Polanco
The Orange is the New Black star looked every bit the Hollywood starlet dressed in a white lace frock that perfectly accented her killer curves. The Michael Costello dress was equal parts sassy and sophisticated, showcasing an open back and a body-hugging silhouette meant for only the most confident of women.
