Kanye meets…Sir Paul? As one of the most famous musicians of all-time, Paul McCartney has collaborated with a ton of other artists to create tunes, but surely none as provocative as Kanye West. The rapper has long been known to incite controversy with his hot-head persona, but it seems West may be taking a turn for the peaceful, teaming up with the ex-Beatle for an emotional song titled “Only One.” The song, released on New Year’s Eve is one of wife Kim’s favorites, gushing on social media about the North West-inspired ballad.
“Kanye felt like his mom was singing thru him to our daughter” while recording the single, said Kim. The rapper’s beloved mother, Donda, died in 2007.
“I think the storm ran out of rain, the clouds are moving. I know you’re happy, cause I can see it,” West sings. “One day you’ll be the man you always knew you would be and if you knew how proud I was, you’d never shed a tear, have a fear.”
“Everyone asks me what my favorite Kanye song is. It’s Only One… This song makes me cry every time I hear it,” she said on Instagram.
The reality star also took to social media to put some ongoing rumors to rest.
“Lets clear up some rumors before the new year…. I’m bored looking online and seriously don’t know where they come up with this stuff…no I’m not pregnant. Kanye & I are not having marriage problems. Were literally obsessed with each other!”
Yes, Kim, we can tell.
