Whether you’re Team Beiber or Team Bloom (We love you, Orlando!), there’s a good chance you’ve experienced serious pangs of travel envy upon seeing pictures of stars partying it up in Ibiza. While the recent shenanigans are no doubt entertaining, we’re more focused on daydreaming about all the fabulous things we’d be partaking in while lounging on a yacht with our Leo. With our favorite designers’ 2015 resort runways now a thing of the past, we’re left to obsess over the trends we fell in love with and how to translate these looks to fit a working girl’s budget.

Bright hues and bold prints have become the epitome of resort chic and luckily, fashionistas more than likely have some of these pieces already stashed away in their closets. Psychadelic patterns were a major trend for pre-spring and for good reason – who among us doesn’t love a little cheer as the snow begins to melt? From bold, bright bottoms to graphic print shirts in all shades of the rainbow, if it’s bold and beautiful, pack it in the suitcase. Striped maxi dress and separates boasting horizontal and vertical details will be all the rage come January and whether by way of printed trouser or pencil skirt, there are a variety of ways to rock these hot pieces to create completely covetable looks meant to stand out.

Chic suits put a sophisticated spin on the usual laid-back luxe vibe of resort vacays, and we’re dying to see a range of strong structures prancing around the hottest tropical nightspots. Whether rocking bright solids, cool prints or majorly stylish monochrome, be sure to add a little spice by exposing just a hint of your décolletage for a look reminiscent of the hottest Miami club circa 1970. Luxe gold jewelry will add an additional hint of glam that’s always welcome during luxurious vacations. When rocking all-white styles, accent with a pop of color that’s sure to draw the eye. Orange and deep purple are just two of our favorite stand-out shades for pre-spring. For a killer beauty look that will leave a lasting impression on all those fabulous resort pics, opt for a slicked-back hairstyle and minimal makeup. Tres chic!
