Fashion: Hippie Hippie Chic

Hippie culture is alive and well as far is fashion is concerned. “Bohemian Glam” is totally a thing now, made popular by stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe. Cool, hip and with a gorgeous ethereal vibe that’s hard to resist, the Bohemian Chic aesthetic is one that all fashion-forward gals can replicate. While the hippie chic look is certainly one that can be rocked all throughout the streets, there are certain occasions that could not be perfect to sport the trend. Take these looks out for a spin during super hot summer music festivals and days at the beach to blow them all away.

Fashionitas don’t have to spend a fortune in order to replicate edgy hippie looks. For instance, that pair of old jeans you haven’t worn in years? Cut them up into denim shorts and sport with a fringed bikini top and floppy hat at the pool. That floral dress you no longer get wear out of? Throw a fringed vest on top of it and pair it with distressed ankle booties. While wide-legged jeans were a must-have during our middle school years, pair one with a flowy blouse, a wide-brimmed hat and luxe gold jewelry to the make the look modern once again. There are tons of ways to breathe new life into your wardrobe to make it hippie chic friendly. Experiment to find a style that’s just your size.
