Cosplay is so popular these days that every major gaming or comic book event holds a competition for it. People who decide to compete and show off their cosplay skills are able to win major prizes of cash and other gaming or comic book memorabilia.
The best thing about cosplay is that despite popular belief, it’s not age restricted. Anyone who loves cosplay is allowed to enter, even elderly people. In fact, one of the most recognized cosplayers in the world is a 50 years old Brazilian woman known as Solange. She first got into cosplay after going with her 19 year old daughter to an event but now she is the biggest name in the cosplay world.
