Cassie Gee, who is 5 years old, is a talented artist. You read that right, a five year old! Cassie has made a variety of galaxy and landscape paintings. If that wasn’t impressive enough, then take a look at what Cassie does with her money.
While most people wouldn’t expect a 5 year old to be good at painting, this little girl Cassie has proven people wrong. Not only is she good at painting, but she makes money from it.
Cassie Gee is only 5 years old. On her website, it says that she loves going to the beach, loves elephants, fairies, and painting. Most of that is stuff that a normal 5 year old would love.
Cassie became a professional artist at 3 years old! This girl has so much talent. She loves helping people decorate their houses and offices with her paintings.
Cassie’s paintings have traveled all over the world. She starts out by picking out a combination of acrylic paint, gliter, and resin.
After Cassie chooses her paint combinations, she creates galaxies using only a fork, skewer, or her hands. Seriously, she can do this with only a fork!
Cassie sold more than 20 paintings in one month just from picking up a brush. She made $1,000 that month alone.
Linda Gee, Cassie’s mom, introduced Cassie to painting early on so she would start to settle down. Cassie was always on the go, and her mom needed her to calm down for a short period of the day.
Linda Gee is also a painter like her daughter. One day, she handed Cassie art supplies and told her to go do something with it.
After Cassie experienced art supplies for the first time, she presented it to her mom. Her mom was beyond shocked – the painting that Cassie did was better than her moms!
Cassie lives in Sydney, Australia. Her paintings have been all over Australia, and she has sold over 100 paintings to clients that are all over the world.
Another thing that is impressive about Cassie is that she donates a portion of the money earned to charities all over the world. She’s given away over $750 to these charities.
Cassie has donated paintings to charities for fundraiser auctions. Some of those charities include Royal Society for the Blind, Monochrome International, Essentials 4 Women SA, and more!
In August of 2016, Cassie donated $250 to install a rain water tank for school aged children in Cambodia. In March of 2017, Cassie donated a set of colored pencils and a pencil case to children in need through Got A Pen? for every painting she sold.
In April of 2017, Cassie chose to sponsor a child. She is doing it through the Bodhicitta Foundation, and is giving $40/month for a year.
Cassie is truly beyond her years. She has beautiful paintings and donates money to charity – she has only been on the earth for 5 years and has already made such an impact!
The biggest canvas that Cassie has ever painting is 48″ x 36″. She loves working with glitter to make her paintings “happy.”
Cassie started selling her paintings when her mom showed them on Facebook. Mrs. Gee was on a local facebook group asking about art classes for children and posted one of Cassie’s paintings. People were then commenting on the post trying to buy the painting.
Cassie’s dad, who is an engineer, confirmed that she has been asked for commissions. The Gee family said that she has an eye for color that took her mother years to develop.
Cassie has a personal collection of pictures on her website that she keeps at home. Her mom says that they proudly adorn the walls of their home.
