We love Awards Season for many reasons, but aside from praying every night that Leo finally gets his Oscar, we’re in it for the fashion, ya’ll. The BAFTAs took place over the weekend, honoring film’s greatest talents and showcasing a ton of enviable designs on the red carpet. We’re thrilled to see a new breed of fashion front-runners on the scene, and in true Hollywood fashion, these fierce fashionistas didn’t disappoint.
Alicia Vikander
Newcomer Alicia Vikander is not only beautiful, she’s got a killer fashion sense, too. As the face of Louis Vuitton, she kind of has to. Her leather embellished gown was everything we’d expect from an edgy star. It was figure flattering, sophisticated and fabulous, and if this is any indication of what we’ll see from Vikander at the Oscars, we can’t wait!
Saoirse Ronan
The gorgeous Saoirse Ronan looked gorgeous as ever at the BAFTAs, rocking a floral embellished Burberry dress completely fit for a movie star. A stunning jeweled statement necklace and messy ponytail perfectly complemented this high-fashion look.

A lover of all things Alexander McQueen, we always look forward to Kate Blanchett’s red carpet choices. She went bold in a floral and feather gown that showcased her true style chops, and perfectly represented the legacy of the late designer.
