Between the warm weather and the too-fastly-approaching New Year, this Christmas wasn’t as jolly as years past, but you shouldn’t let that stop you from ringing in 2016 looking as fabulous as can be. While you’ve surely got your dress, accessories and date all picked out, are you ready to take your beauty look to the next level? Inject a bit of blue into your New Year’s Eve beauty look to ensure you’ve got the most gorgeous face at the party. Is there any better way to celebrate?
Youtube star Rachel Leary is basically our go-to gal for makeup at this point. To achieve her gorgeous blue makeup, first begin with a full coverage foundation that will mask those imperfections (though we do think you are pretty perfect as you are). Once you’ve got a smooth base, apply an undereye concealer to brighten up your face. You can also apply it to spots where the sun naturally hits for added glow. Next, apply a blue eyeshadow to the outer corner and inner corner of your eyelid, then choose a silvery shade and apply it to the middle, blending out as you go. Reach for a cobalt blue eyeliner and line the lower lashline, then apply a shimmery white to the inner corners for added depth. You can then continue filling in your eyebrows with your favorite brow product, then apply some bronzer to the apples of your cheeks and along your jaw bone. A swipe of your favorite nude lip and you’re done!
