Awards Season has officially begun and, as expected, Hollywood’s glamour girls were out in full force. There was no shortage of skin on Sunday’s red carpet, with everyone from Kate Hudson to Cara Delevingne looking sexy and sophisticated in cut-out gowns that left just enough to the imagination. While a ton of starlets looked the picture of perfection, our Best Dressed List has room for only five.
1) J. Lo
I mean, c’mon. She’s J. Lo for crying out loud, does she ever look anything short of incredible? Her embellished cape dress was the perfect choice to make a statement. Celeb Jeremy Renner caused a stir by commenting on her “globes” while presenting at the ceremony. Very clever, Jeremy. Twitter was not amused.
2) Emma Stone
We don’t think Emma Stone could possibly get any cooler. Leave it to the redhead to break with convention and rock a glam pantsuit in a sea full of gowns. We love the sophisticated look of this embellished jumpsuit, and her hair and makeup? Absolute perfection. This flawless look only further proves that Emma Stone would make the best bestfriend ever.
3) Kate Hudson
Va-Va-Voom! Kate Hudson has been knocking the style game out of the park forever now, and the woman still has a ton of tricks up her sleeve. This cut-out winter white Versace number is the perfect balance of sexy and chic. Embellished straps brought the drama while a low cut neckline lent way for some serious cleavage. You go, girl! We’re sure Goldie is proud.
4) Naomi Watts
From the cut to the color, Naomi Watt’s canary yellow gown was a show-stopper. The actress always looks like a super star on the red carpet, mostly sticking to sheath dresses in bold colors and metallics to dazzle the eye. We love the combination of a larger than life color with an edgy necklace like her fabulous serpent piece. Her little white clutch provided the perfect close to a glorious Golden Globes ensemble.
5) Heidi Klum
She’s a super model, so we didn’t really expect her to land on the Worst Dressed List, but we were pleasantly surprised by Heidi’s completely appropriate ensemble. A ravishing red shade and a silhouette that flatters to death, we were loving Heidi’s Old Hollywood glam look. A far cry from those “huh?” dresses she’s rocked in the past, Heidi was looking every ounce the starlet in that stellar scarlet gown. With looks like these from these gorgeous leading ladies, we can’t wait to see what’s to come.
