Handelingenkamer Tweede Kamer Der Staten-generaal Den Haag Iii, Netherlands – The wealthy architect, C.H. Peters designed this library with his Neo-Dutch Renaissance style inspired by China.  This can be seen in the many dragon heads along the walls, the claws on the handles and the patterns in the iron work. Furthermore, it is shown by the use of color, mostly crimson red , gold , and green . The roof is made entirely of glass with a scaly style, again to bring them back to the Chinese style. At the entrance is a row of tiles with Delft blue motifs. The building was disassembled in two parts in England then sent to The Netherlands to be reassembled.

Melk Monastery Library, Austria – The abbey was founded in 1089 when Leopold II, Margrave of Austria gave one of his castles to Benedictine monks from Lambach Abbey. A monastic school, the Stiftsgymnasium Melk, was founded in the twelfth century, and the monastic library soon became renowned for its extensive manuscript collection.
