Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, actress Natalie Dormer (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, The Forest) made an appearance to chat about the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s Game Of Thrones. Dormer told Kimmel that she doesn’t read the other characters’ story lines for scenes she’s not in and watches the show as it airs, just like any other fan.
When asked by Kimmel whether that fact was a spoiler, as last season ended with her still languishing in jail, Dormer laughed and said: “There are dungeons in Spain”. “But we still have to talk about inequality until that happens”, she said.
Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has no interest in being ideal, as she leaves that to fashion models. Highgarden? We know Margery’s been in King’s Landing.
Dormer, whose character Margaery Tyrell was sent to the dungeons in the Season 5 finale, was tight-lipped when it came to revealing anything about the highly anticipated new season.
If you prefer to be surprised by the series’ twists and turns, avoiding spoilers can feel like like dodging bullets in “The Matrix”.
“If you’re not happy with the internal you, you’ll never be happy with the external you”, she said. “It’s annoying sometimes because I’ll be in the hair-and-makeup trailer and someone will show up and I’ll be like, “What are you doing here?” In that horror film, she plays twin sisters who are separated when one grimly wanders off into Aokigahara Forest, a real life Japanese wood where thousands have gone to commit suicide.
