Royals William and Kate release photos of Princess Charlotte

These new photos of Princess Charlotte have been released by Kensington Palace to mark her six-month milestone.

They were released by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge via their Kensington Palace office to thank fans for the good wishes sent to the royal couple.

Yep, it was Kate who was behind the camera, and she chose their family home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk for the location.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana has inherited her grandmother and namesake Princess Diana’s blue eyes, which she shares with her father, but has brown hair like her mother. Her mother is Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge.

Kate, 33, also took the photos of Princess Charlotte at two weeks old with her big brother George at Anmer Hall.

It was one of two photographs of the young Princess released by Kensington Palace.

She will be called Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. She is wearing a lavender sweater over a floral dress with a white frilled collar.

As for Charlotte’s seemingly happy personality, her dad Prince William couldn’t help but gush over his baby girl a few months ago, saying, “She’s been a little joy from heaven”.

Princess Charlotte, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton, will turn 7 months old this Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 (she was born on May 2, 2015).

According to the Daily Mail, the pictures were not meant to be made public, but the Duchess was so pleased with them that she chose to release them.

No matter what her ancestor Queen Victoria reputedly said, life for Princess Charlotte carries a fair amount of amusement.

The second snap is, even more, heartbreaking as she enjoys a belly laugh with her toy dog – adorable!
