Traveling cross country with your family or friends is one of the coolest things that you’ll ever get to experience in your lifetime. You will be able to admire impressive sights, see historical places and most importantly create a stronger bond with your family or friends. However, the trick to doing this is to find a way for you all to travel together in one vehicle. While many people might think that a traveling trailer is the best option, one American family is proving that this is not the case.

Val and Kilmer are the couple that decided to take their travels to the next level by turning a bus into a hostel which allows them to take their kids, guests and even dogs on trips. Transforming a normal school bus into a full on four wheel hostel was not easy at all but it was definitely worth it. Check out these following pictures to see Val and Kilmer’s special bus and how many useful features it offers.

This is how the bus looks from the front side. As you can see, the couple decided to name it “The Nomad Bus” which is quite an adequate name since they enjoy traveling so much.

The Nomad bus looks really incredible under that beautiful starry night. What’s really cool about this picture is that it shows how ingenious Val and Kilmer were to install a stove and a chimney to keep them warm.

What’s really cool about going on travels with a bus such as this is that your kids will have enough room to play and never get bored. This is quite amazing since kids usually think traveling is dull because they don’t have anything else to do other than to sit in one place and wait to arrive at the destination.

Sitting down and enjoying a drink or just reading a book under that canopy must be very relaxing. Another cool thing about this bus is that you can have dinner on the roof!

It must be really confusing for people to see this “regular” looking school bus riding through the mountains and valleys.

The interior looks so cool! That slingshot on the left shows us that these people know how to have fun into the wild.

As you can clearly see, traveling around the country can be very comfortable. The cool thing about this is that they have six beds which means that they can always take some guests on their adventures.

You will never need to eat food from gas stations while traveling ever again, when you have a kitchen in your vehicle.

I never expected this bus to have a sink. This “hotel” has all the necessary utilities to be classified as a house.

The walls have windows that are shaped like mountains, and they even added a few USB chargers.

Being a guest on this bus must be really amazing and comfortable at the same time, just look at those comfy blankets and pillows.

Every guest that gets on the Nomad bus gets its own cupboard where they can store their items.

Yes, the bus has a shower! Can it even get better than this?

That kid is so lucky to have awesome parents like this and go on adventures every day. Soon enough he will be able to drive it himself.

The six beds we previously saw are for guests because Val and Kilmer have their own master bedroom and this is what it looks like.

A side shot of the bus gives us an idea of how many interesting things this kid sees on a daily basis. I bet he stares out the window all day long, especially when the family is traveling to awesome places such as the Grand Canyon.
