Bill Clinton Stumps for Hillary; Is He an Asset or a Liability?

The 42nd president made his first solo campaign appearance for his wife, Hillary Clinton, as he returned to the state he often kindly credits for launching the underdog Arkansas governor to the presidency. Hillary Clinton had some of her highest approval ratings in the wake of disclosures about her husband’s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

Stated Jones: “It’s really a sad, sad day if Hillary becomes president, because she has allowed her husband to get by with this type of stuff”.

“He disliked me, I think, more than anybody else in Congress”, Clinton said of DeLay in a story highlighting how DeLay and Hillary Clinton were still able to work together on expanding adoption programs”.

Thus far, both Clintons have mostly abstained from responding to Trump’s comments, which their campaign considers an impudent political tactic.

Stumping for his wife in the Granite State on Monday, former President Bill Clinton praised Hillary Clinton for her accomplishments and readiness to be the next commander-in-chief.

Moreover recently he has added the following lines ‘Does anybody remember when Bill Clinton, in 2008, worked long and hard for Hillary?

“That guy is more representative of most Muslims in America than what happened in San Bernardino”, the former president said to applause.

“I do not believe in my lifetime anybody has run for the job who is better qualified by experience, knowledge and temperament (than Hillary Clinton)”.

“It’s kind of scary this year”, Bill Clinton warned, “but believe it or not, most everybody actually tries to do what they say they’re going to do when they’re running”.

He spoke calmly and quietly in New Hampshire on Monday, methodically describing the issues he sees as motivating voters in the next election.

Clinton is a skilled politician but is also seen as a potential liability for his wife’s campaign due to past allegations of sexual abuse.

Another candidate has called Bill Clinton’s past irrelevant to the 2016 campaign: Democratic primary opponent Bernie Sanders.

SCARBOROUGH: You’re saying today you’re only going to bring up Bill Clinton as a possible sexual harasser if she accuses you of being sexist.

Trump is also campaigning in New England.

“They’re willing to turn their backs on 19 million Americans”, she said.
