Hillary Clinton responds to Donald Trump’s “schl****d” insult

The response was the first from the campaign since Trump used the vulgarity Monday night during a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan. “I don’t know that he has any boundaries at all”, Clinton said. “No, it’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’s disgusting”. If he were to repeat his derision of POWs in a presidential debate with Clinton sitting across the stage, he would be scorned from coast to coast for the rest of his life! Barack Obama in the 2008 fight for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The common usage of the term “schlong” is as a slang reference to a penis.

During a town hall meeting in Keota, Iowa, yesterday, Clinton didn’t mention Trump directly, but alluded to the controversy.

The Post even offered a “linguistic investigation”, quoting an expert as saying: “‘Many goyim are confused by the large number of Yiddish terms beginning with “schl” or “schm” (schlemiel, schlemazzle, schmeggegge, schlub, schlock, schlep, schmutz, schnook), and use them incorrectly or interchangeably.'”‎.

She added, “I don’t respond to him personally, because he thrives on that kind of exchange”.

Trump later defended the “blood” comments, saying he meant out of Kelly’s nose and eyes, saying only a “deviant” would think he was making a crack about menstruation. “By the way, that view, Ted Cruz had until he went into the witness protection program”, Bush said.

Trump is now “warning” Clinton to stop standing up for women, and raising issues that are important to women, and fighting back against those who would bully women. Trump has demanded an apology, which Clinton has refused to give.

While Clinton didn’t directly address Trump’s language, she didn’t shy away from noting that she’s often been the target of attacks.

“Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists”, said spokesman Brian Fallon in a statement.

“And it turned out to be a lie – she’s a liar!”

Michelle Goldberg in Slate said the language was a sign “Trump, having capitalised on his fans’ vast store of racial and religious resentment, is now seeking to tap the reservoir of their misogyny”. Well, I think it’s actually going to be a three-person race.

Clinton was not the only woman mentioned on Monday night.

Clinton aides say they are taking nothing for granted in the upcoming contests. “It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it”. But I would never kill. The answer is that all of the Mexicans, they’re criminals and rapists, we’ve got to hate the Mexicans. Late in the rally, a woman began screaming at Trump.

Women heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said. “Well, she doesn’t sound very tough”.
