The two new photographs show Charlotte wearing a frilly pink cardigan over a floral dress.
Kate and William are trying to give their children an idyllic country upbringing and are making 10-bedroom Anmer Hall on the Norfolk Sandringham Estate their main home rather than their London residence Kensington Palace. Unlike Prince George, it seems that Princess Charlotte favors her mother with her lovely brown locks.
Prince William and wife Kate today released pictures of their daughter Princess Charlotte, to mark her six-month milestone. She sits in a blue and white checkered chair.
Taken in early November, one image showed the 6-month-old smiling at a stuffed animal.
Photos of Princess Charlotte with her brother Prince George were also released by Kensington Palace back in June.
A couple of photos of Princess Charlotte were posted online through the official Twitter page of Kensington Palace.
Others have spotted a striking resemblance to her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth: “She looks so like Her Majesty!” In the first new photo of Princess Charlotte, the infant is seen laughing with her hair fully grown out while she is sitting in an armchair with her toy. The little royals are kept away from the media as much as possible so they can have a normal childhood.
Much like his little sister, Prince George spent many of his early months out of the public eye, making those photos a similarly rare treat for the royal family’s admirers.
Prince William and Kate Middleton prefer a “normal” life for their children, but the future king is not shy about speaking about the princess. “Charlotte is getting bigger and getting on well with her noisy big brother”.
The last time the princess was seen in public was in July during her christening.
